about Sacred Sanctuary

Welcome to Sacred Sanctuary!

At Sacred Sanctuary, we embrace the belief that you are inherently whole and do not need to be fixed. Life’s challenges and obstacles may create an illusion of separation from our wholeness, but sacred plant medicines help illuminate this separation. The process of working with sacred plants allow us to shed thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that no longer serve us, revealing the perfect wholeness already present within.

Sacred Sanctuary is a spiritual organization dedicated to self-discovery and experiencing the divine within. Our rituals incorporate the sacramental entheogenic plants, which have ancient roots and has provided the visionary foundation for many of the world’s major religions.

Centered around the sharing of this sacramental tea, our practices draw from wisdom and traditions practiced for thousands of years by indigenous peoples. We are nondenominational and honor each individual’s divine consciousness and their connection to Source. Our beliefs incorporate those from many religions and diverse cultures around the world. The use of our sacrament aligns with Her desire to spread Her message and medicine to cultures across the globe. We honor and give thanks to those that came before us and the original tribespeople who were guardians and stewards of this sacrament.

It is our belief, and knowing, that these plant teachers bestow upon humanity an extraordinary gift through Her divine medicine. This gift allows for the collective evolution of human consciousness by offering direct experiences with the Divine. It is this direct connection that supersedes any leader or shaman or preacher or teller. You are your own healer, your own teacher, and have your own direct connection with Divinity.

We are nondenominational and honor each individual’s divine consciousness and their connection to Source. Our beliefs incorporate those from many religions and diverse cultures around the world. We utilize Ayahuasca as the conduit to bridge each one of our unique connections to God.

We believe that each person has their own connection to God and that there are many truths leading to the same source. While we have many beliefs that we teach, we do not force these ideas to be part of our community. We believe everyone can come to their own conclusions one on one with the guidance of Ayahuasca to have direct communication with the Creator (Our Father). We believe that the purpose of life is to enjoy it in all of its varying experiences (seemingly good and “bad”) and simply to experience it all. We believe that death is not the end of the living of the soul and that this is an experience the soul is having and will go on to another experience after this “life” is done.

We believe we are children of the Earth, each precious to Our Father, and as such we strive to be in one with nature and the plants, receiving the gift of life with their symbiotic nature of breath. We believe there is no hierarchy in this life, that God has created all of his children equally and perfectly. And all beings are his children - from the ants, to the birds, to people, and to the trees.

We believe that Ayahuasca can facilitate and serve as both teacher and prophet to those who engage in the ceremonial use of this sacrament. While many of us do call upon various prophets and teachers such as Jesus Christ, we do not force the engagement of such, as communion with our greatest teacher (Ayahuasca), is our main focus and can lead us to finding the truth in each of our personal experiences.

Community is a cornerstone of our spirituality. It serves as the focal point for the spiritual work of all members, ensuring that the spiritual insights gained are shared and benefit the collective. As each individual integrates their own teachings from these master plants, the collective knowledge and wisdom of the community grows as a whole. We support one another through our journeys, both separate and shared.

We hold deep reverence for nature, viewing the plant world and the entire planet as the sacred stage of our Mother Earth. It is our belief that these master plant teachers, being a natural product of the Earth, should be available to all people. It is through working with this holy medicine that will further humanity’s path toward enlightenment. We are all children of the Earth - and with humility, reverence, and sustainability - it is our inherent birthright to consume our sacrament.
